These types of antiperspirants contain up to 20% of aluminum chloride hexahydrate. This substance works by blocking the sweet pores. Among best known brands are DrySol ( in US) or DriClor in UK (20% aluminum chloride) or Maxim (15% aluminum chloride).
The biggest concern about these prescription strength antiperspirants is the question about the toxicity of its active ingredient – aluminum chloride hexahydrate.
